Sometimes, externally connected devices often cause a problem in the smooth restarting screen process of a computer. Click on either and the process will begin again, you may need to fill in your recovery key first. If you have connected any external devices like a USB flash drive or a printer, unplug them and restart the PC to see if Windows 10 is stuck on restarting. If you want to reset your PC, then just click on that option you’ll then be given the choice to either keep your files or remove everything. The next screen will let you reset the PC, restore it from a factory image, or offer additional “Advanced options.” It may be to your advantage to check out those options they include a “Startup Repair” feature, one that lets you change your startup settings, an option to uninstall updates (which are often the cause of problems), and others.I started the reset and everything was going fine, but now its been stuck at 47 for 5 hours, its a 1TB HDD where only 150GB were filled, the screen is still active with the loading dots going around in the circle. If you want to reset your PC, click on “Troubleshoot.” I wanted to do a complete reset of windows (i chose the option to 'delete all files'). Your system will reboot, and you’ll get a blue screen that lets you “Choose an option.” These options may vary on my system, I could choose to continue to Windows 10, boot from an external device, turn off the PC, or troubleshoot. When you arrive at the Recovery screen, click on “Restart now” under the “Advanced startup” heading. Follow the directions for resetting above.
